Six Different Tar Heels Score As No. 1 Women's Soccer Rolls Into NCAA Quarterfinals

Top-seeded North Carolina scored three goals in the opening 32 minutes of the match en route to a 6-2 victory over Tennessee in the Round of 16 of the 2006 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament Saturday night at Fetzer Field before 2,145 fans. Six different Tar Heel players scored in the match as UNC built a 6-0 lead before the Lady Volunteers responded with a pair of goals in the final six minutes of the match.
