Rashad Muhammad dismissed from Miami basketball team

On Thursday, Miami announced that junior guard Rashad Muhammad was dismissed from the program "for failure to meet team expectations." Muhammad, the younger brother of former UCLA star and current Minnesota Timberwolves guard Shabazz, was suspended earlier this month for a violation of team rules. He did not appear in a single game for the Hurricanes.
