Wake Forest, Dave Clawson agree to 8-year extension

Wake Forest athletic director Ron Wellman announced Tuesday that head football coach Dave Clawson has received a contract extension through the 2024 season. Since coming to Wake Forest prior to the 2014 season, Clawson has led the Demon Deacons to their first bowl game in five years, the first bowl win in eight years, and the first win over a ranked team in five seasons.
