Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre’s $16.25 million contract approved days after being disciplined

Colorado Buffaloes football coach Mike MacIntyre’s three-year, $16.25 million contract extension has been unanimously approved by the Board of Regents, the school announced Thursday. The extension will keep MacIntyre with the Buffs through the 2021 season. His current contract runs through the 2018 season with a base salary of $2 million.
