Distance Runner Shalane Flanagan Upgraded To Silver Medal In 10,000-Meter For Olympic Games Beijing

The United States Olympic Committee and USA Track & Field have received official notification from the International Olympic Committee that distance runner Shalane Flanagan has been upgraded to the silver medal in the 10,000-meter for the Olympic Games Beijing 2008. She received the silver medal at her home in Portland, Oregon, on Monday, Aug. 21.
