Alle Sanford Wins Oracle ITA Masters Championship


North Carolina freshman Alle Sanford is the champion of the Oracle ITA Masters after defeating defending champion, top ranked and number No. 1 seed Ena Shibahara of UCLA on Sunday from the Malibu Racquet Club. Sanford, the sixth seed from Westerville, Ohio, shook of five match points to upend Shibahara by a score of 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (11). (GoHeels.com)
