Pitt basketball home opener attendance plummets to new low

The Pitt Panthers’ 2017-18 home opener against Montana Monday night had an announced attendance of 3,102, making it the lowest-attended regular-season game in the history of the Petersen Events Center. Pitt coach Kevin Stallings was asked after his team’s 83-78 overtime loss to Montana if he’s concerned about lack of support from his fans. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
