From UNC to Pixar: Winston-Salem native plays key role in 'Coco'

UNC alum David Park is finally seeing his latest movie hit theaters. But long productions are nothing new for Park, a veteran of the Pixar filmmaking process. Park was production manager for “Coco,” the latest Disney/Pixar feature film. He was also production manager on the 2013 film “Monsters University,” and he also worked on “Toy Story 3,” “Wall-E” and “Ratatouille.”
