Louisville parts ways with interim head coach David Padgett

Louisville informed interim coach David Padgett that they will be finding someone else to fill the head basketball coach position on a permanent basis, Padgett told 247Sports. "They are going in a different direction," Padgett said. "They appreciated my efforts and everything I did with this team. They wished me the best and I feel the same about the university."
