Experience Register-s high for Tar Heels golfer


The team component of college golf has brought William Register all sorts of satisfaction in a four-year career for North Carolina. That’s winding down when the Tar Heels begin play Friday in the NCAA championships. “I don’t want this to be my last round of college golf,” said Register, who has become one of the most established golfers in the history of the UNC program.
