Golfer William Register completes UNC career, starts pro career

Just a few days after wrapping up his collegiate career, William Register began his professional golf career. He teed off Thursday in the Mackenzie Tour, a PGA Tour Canada circuit. “It’s kind of different to play school-team golf and then go play for myself,” Register said. Register played golf for North Carolina, which finished 15th in the NCAA championships. (Burlington Times-News)
