Now Open: Lula’s Replaces Spanky’s in Downtown Chapel Hill

Lula’s is open for business in downtown Chapel Hill. The new restaurant is the latest concept from the Chapel Hill Restaurant Group and is replacing the iconic eatery Spanky’s, which the company “retired” earlier this year after more than 40 years in business. “It’s going to be a Southern restaurant,” part owner Greg Overbeck recently told WCHL.
