Her exceptional talent and dedication led the team to the NCAA Division I National Championship during her senior season. UNC Women's Basketball loses assistant coach Itoro Coleman to Virginia Tech
UNC Women’s Basketball lost a member of its coaching staff Friday when new Virginia Tech head coach Megan Duffy hired Itoro Coleman as her associate head coach. Coleman, a former WNBA player, had been on the Tar Heels’ staff since the 2020-21 season. She was part of Duffy’s staff at Marquette for the 2019–20 season before joining UNC's staff. (

Courtney Banghart announced Tuesday. Townsend spent the past four years at the University of Richmond, where she averaged 13.5 points and 5.2 assists per game in 2023-24. Townsend earned A10 All-Conference, All-Tournament, and All-Academic honors. (
