'That little kid' on a big stage

That little kid is 21-year-old Ivory Latta, the 5-foot-6 junior point guard for the top-ranked Tar Heels. She's the best player on the best team -- one of four Naismith Award finalists for women's college basketball player of the year. She brings to the court the big-eyed innocence of the country kid who has moved into the city's bright lights without losing touch with her small-town, big-family upbringing.
