Stars collide as Latta, Parker meet for Final Four berth
Posted Mar 28, 2006
They are perhaps the biggest stars in women's hoops: North Carolina's Ivory Latta and Tennessee's Candace Parker. Too bad only one of them will play in the Final Four. On Tuesday night, top-seeded North Carolina will meet No. 2 seed Tennessee in the final of the NCAA Cleveland Regional, a March matchup that seemed inevitable when the tournament field was set. The winner gets a spot in the national semifinals in Boston on April 2-4.
