UNC Women's Basketball Tops Elon, 100-69

Six players scored double figures to pace North Carolina to a 100-69 win at Elon in the first regular season basketball game in the new Schar Center. The game pitted UNC coach Sylvia Hatchell against her former player and current Phoenix head coach Charlotte Smith. Junior newcomer Shayla Bennett led all scorers with 19 points and seven assists in her Tar Heel debut. (GoHeels.com)
