UNC Women's Basketball Falls Short At No. 3 Louisville, 73-66

Janelle Bailey and Stephanie Watts each scored 16 points to help North Carolina nearly pull off an upset of No. 3 Louisville, who prevailed 73-66 Thursday in the ACC opener (Highlights). UNC erased a 19-point deficit to get within two points on four separate occasions in the fourth quarter, but couldn't get over the hump with the Cardinals placing five players in double figures.
