Posted Mar 16, 2019
The Tar Heels' two-run first inning would be all they needed to clinch the series against Boston College on Saturday afternoon. Hannah George and Brittany Pickett combined for North Carolina's 2-0 victory and fourth shutout of the season. Megan Dray's two-run single in the first inning gave Carolina the edge to improve to 14-9 overall, 4-1 in ACC play.
