Former UNC Women's Basketball Player Destinee Walker Transfers to Notre Dame

The Notre Dame women's basketball team received a boost in the form of fifth-year transfer Destinee Walker. The move from North Carolina to Notre Dame was made official Friday. Walker, a 5'10" guard, will be eligible right away. Walker was the 17th nationally-ranked recruit out of high school where she earned McDonald's All-American and Naismith honors.
