Media members know not to ask a pitcher for an interview before starts. On Tuesday, Trent Thornton had a couple reasons to make an exception. Trevor Kelley, a friend and former teammate at the University of North Carolina, had been called up to the Red Sox bullpen earlier that day. And in town to watch the Tar Heel alums was UNC coach Mike Fox.
