Former All-Star Matt Harvey works on comeback with A’s farm team

Of course Matt Harvey would like to be back in the big leagues, but at this point, the former All-Star with the Mets is just glad to get a shot with the A’s Triple-A Las Vegas team after the Angels let him go a month ago. “I’m excited for the opportunity,” Harvey told The Chronicle by phone. “After missing a month and a half, this is a good step in the right direction.”
