Malu Tshitenge Named ACC Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week

After averaging a double-double in the Tar Heels' last two games, North Carolina forward Malu Tshitenge has been named the ACC Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week. The league announced its weekly winners on Monday. It is Tshitenge's first honor as a Tar Heel. Tshitenge averaged 13.0 points and 12.5 rebounds in two Carolina wins last week. (GoHeels.com)
