Legendary baseball writer Peter Gammons being honored by the people he covers

At 74, he still is the most revered baseball writer in the industry. He is Peter Gammons, who will be honored Saturday in Beverly Hills as the recipient of the prestigious "In the Spirit of the Game"’ award at the annual Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation banquet. "He just didn’t just do it better than anybody else, he invented it for everyone else."
