New Faces Filling Roles for 2020 Diamond Heels

UNC had 10 players who averaged at least two plate appearances per game last season. Six have since departed. Their departures represent 58 percent of 2019’s run production and a combined 326 starts. Freshman Patrick Alvarez and junior college transfer Mikey Madej have secured starting roles in the infield, replacing Ike Freeman and Ashton McGee.
