UNC alumna LaToya Pringle Sanders of WNBA’s Mystics to sit out season

LaToya Pringle Sanders, who went on to reach the Final Four with North Carolina twice, has announced that she will opt out of the upcoming WNBA season with the reigning champion Washington Mystics. “This was not an easy choice to make, but after much thought and conversation I do believe it is what’s best for my health and family,” Sanders said.
