Stock Rising For UNC Baseball Commit Vance Honeycutt

Coach Mike Herndon doesn’t hesitate to use Vance Honeycutt’s name in the same sentence as Whit Merrifield’s. Herndon coached Merrifield, an MLB all-star with the Kansas City Royals, at Davie County High. Now he coaches Honeycutt, a Salisbury High senior infielder committed to UNC. Both of Honeycutt's parents also competed for the Tar Heels.
