UNC Baseball Clinches Series Win Over No. 2/12 Virginia With 2-1 Win

The Tar Heels (6-0) took game two of the weekend, 2-1, to clinch the series against Virginia (3-3) on an overcast Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium (Highlights). The Tar Heels broke through in the bottom of the second inning when Justice Thompson hit a double down the left field line then later scored on an RBI single from Johnny Castagnozzi.
