UNC Baseball Drops 3-2 Contest For First Loss Of 2021

The Tar Heels (6-1) surrendered its first loss of the college baseball season against No. 2/12 Virginia on Sunday afternoon, 3-2, after clinching the series Saturday on Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium. Max Alba, in his second appearance for the Tar Heels this season, pitched 5 innings and recorded five strikeouts. Alba allowed five hits and three runs.
