No. 25 North Carolina’s second ACC series against No. 24 Virginia Tech was not the pitchers duel that its series against Virginia proved to be. The Tar Heels and Hokies combined for 41 runs on 56 hits in Blacksburg. It wasn’t the series win coach Scott Forbes and the Tar Heels were after, but a lot can be taken away from this weekend moving forward.
