In the series' rubber match, No. 14 North Carolina (12-6, 8-4) outlasted No. 21 Boston College (11-7, 3-6), 5-4, to win its third ACC series of 2021 (Highlights). With one out in the ninth inning and the score knotted at four, Danny Serretti roped an RBI triple to right-center field on the eighth pitch of the at-bat to give the Tar Heels the lead and the win.
