UNC entered the weekend riding an impressive 8-1 win over then-No. 8 East Carolina and a big series win over then-No. 24 Boston College. That momentum vanished this weekend when N.C. State came to town and earned the sweep on Monday. “If you don't get starting pitching and you're behind, it's hard to climb out of it,” coach Scott Forbes said.
