Pitching Lifts Tar Heels to Series Win Over Miami

In helping the Tar Heels sweep Friday’s baseball doubleheader against Miami, Shawn Rapp started Game 2 and tossed six sensational innings, allowing two runs on four hits in the 6-5 win. On top of logging the most innings of his career, the lefty struck out a career-high eight batters. “Obviously, first start, there were a little bit of jitters,” Rapp said.
