Shortly before North Carolina’s name appeared during Monday’s NCAA Tournament selection show, Scott Forbes heard UNC had been selected as the No. 3 seed in the Lubbock Regional. For a team on the NCAA bubble, Forbes could have broken the news to his players to alleviate their nerves. Instead, he watched as tension turned into celebration. (Boshamer Bulletin)
