How Jackson Rusiecki landed a UNC baseball scholarship with a little help from his football coach

Southington football coach Mike Drury, always looking to improve his state title-hopeful squad, watched as a freshman with physique beyond his years walked into the weight room in the spring of 2019. Jackson Rusiecki was readying for his first season of high school baseball, the sport he’d been playing since he was in diapers. Drury had another idea.
