Tar Heels in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (July 28 Update)

UNC is represented by 12 current students and alumni at the Tokyo Olympics. Seven of the 12 athletes have not yet begun competition. The five who have are women’s soccer players. On the positive side, Lucy Bronze (Great Britain), Crystal Dunn (USA), Tobin Heath (USA), and Lotte Wubben-Moy (Great Britain) have advanced to the knockout rounds.
