UNC Baseball Drops Scrimmage to Vanderbilt
Posted Oct 16, 2021
North Carolina struck first but couldn’t hang on as the Tar Heels fell 8-5 to NCAA runner-up Vanderbilt in an exhibition game Friday at Boshamer Stadium. Among the biggest standouts this fall, sophomore Tyler Causey held his own against some quality arms, going 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI. Mac Horvath just missed a homer on his first-inning double.
