UNC Women Basketball falls out of AP poll ahead of games against two ranked rivals


Heading into two games this week against ranked rivals, North Carolina fell out of the AP Top 25 women’s basketball poll released Monday. The Tar Heels beat Virginia 61-52 Thursday but lost to No. 18 Georgia Tech 55-38 on Sunday after being ranked No. 20 in last week’s poll. UNC visits No. 21 Duke on Thursday and hosts No. 3 NC State on Sunday. (Tar Heel Tribune)
