UNC Baseball Suffers First Loss Of Season At ECU

After winning the first two games of their series against East Carolina, the Tar Heels were unable to complete the sweep and were shut out by the Pirates, 5-0, sending UNC (6-1) to its first loss of the season. Angel Zarate extended his on-base streak to 30 games with a hit in the eighth. Vance Honeycutt swiped his sixth and seventh bases of the season.
