Few surprises likely as UNC Women's Basketball faces Hokies after splitting regular-season meetings


As expected, No. 16 North Carolina will have to deal with No. 21 Virginia Tech and ACC Player of the Year Elizabeth Kitley in the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament quarterfinals. The No. 5-seed Hokies, who dispatched No. 13-seed Clemson 82-60 Thursday, face No. 4-seed UNC at 11 a.m. Friday after the teams split two regular-season meetings. (Tar Heel Tribune)
