UNC Softball Clinches Series Win Over Boston College


The North Carolina softball team clinched its three-game series with Boston College on Sunday with an 8-3 win at Anderson Stadium (Highlights). Lilli Backes earned her third win of the season in the circle, pitching 5.2 scoreless innings and allowing just two hits. Six Tar Heels tallied a hit in the game, including two hits from Skyler Brooks in three at-bats. (GoHeels.com)
