Diamond Heels Fall To Louisville In Extra Innings

Louisville third baseman Ben Metzinger hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the No. 12 Cardinals a 9-8 victory over No. 22 North Carolina on Saturday (Highlights). The Diamond Heels (21-10, 7-7 ACC) scored two runs in the top of the ninth, and pitcher Caden O'Brien pitched a hitless bottom half to send the game to extra innings.
