Ciera Toomey’s love for UNC, the state stoked years ago during Pinehurst golf trip


New UNC women's basketball commit first marveled at the beauty of the Carolina campus when she was 10, traveling home to Pennsylvania from a Pinehurst golf tournament. Toomey thought she’d play golf for the rest of her life and remembers liking the idea of moving to North Carolina to take advantage of the terrific golf and better weather. (Tar Heel Tribune)
