No. 8 seed UNC advanced to the ACC Baseball Tournament Semifinals after defeating No. 1 seed Virginia Tech, 10-0, on Friday. Vance Honeycutt set the tone for UNC, hitting a home run in both the first and second innings. UNC's Brandon Schaeffer pitched a complete-game shutout, allowing just six hits while striking out six.
