UNC freshman center fielder Vance Honeycutt was named the 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship MVP after he hit two home runs and drove in five runs in the title game against NC State. Over the course of the 4 games in Charlotte, Honeycutt was 6-15 with four home runs, 10 RBI, five runs, and four walks.
