Let's hear it for Vance Honeycutt
Posted Jun 2, 2022
You’ve probably seen a lot of superlatives around Vance Honeycutt, but they’re worth repeating. His 21 home runs for the season are a UNC freshman record, breaking that set by MLB first-round pick Aaron Sabato. He’s also stolen 28 bases, making him the only freshman with a 20-20 season in the past 11 years and the only UNC player ever to do it.
