Mikey Madej: An Improbable MVP

UNC completed its run out of the regional's losers bracket Monday behind an improbable standout. The Tar Heels' roster features All-ACC batters in Danny Serretti, Vance Honeycutt, and Angel Zarate, yet senior Mikey Madej took home Regional MVP. The senior went from beginning the season as a reserve to recording nine hits in elimination games.
