UNC Finishes Sixth In Nation In Final Directors Cup Standings


The national champion women's lacrosse squad was one of eight Tar Heel teams to finish in the top 10 in NCAA Championship play this season to propel North Carolina to a sixth-place finish in the 2021-22 Directors' Cup. This is UNC's 23rd top-10 performance in the 28-year history of the Cup, its fourth time in the top six in the last seven competitions. (GoHeels.com)
