Walker Jenkins, a UNC Baseball commit since the age of 15 and No. 5-ranked player in the 2023 class, found himself with an opportunity to prove doubters wrong. "When I was 13 years old I got cut from the Canes National Team. They said I was too slow, unathletic, and wasn’t a good enough ballplayer, and I was like, ‘Okay I’ll go and prove you otherwise.'"
