No. 13 UNC Women's Basketball Opens 2023 At No. 7 Virginia Tech Sunday

The UNC women's basketball team opens 2023 Sunday with a New Year's Day game at No. 7 Virginia Tech. The 4 p.m. tipoff is the Tar Heels' fifth game this season against a ranked team. No. 13 North Carolina enters the game at 9-3 overall and 0-1 in ACC play. The Hokies are 11-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play. The game will air on ACC Network. (GoHeels.com)
