Kayla McPherson Named ACC Women's Basketball Rookie Of The Week

North Carolina's Kayla McPherson has been named ACC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week after averaging 14.5 points in the Tar Heels' two games last week. McPherson, a redshirt freshman guard, made her first career start Sunday in a 73-55 win over Boston College and led UNC with 22 points. She scored 10 points in the first quarter alone. (GoHeels.com)
